SE words are related to machines.

🌍 Sound Connections

Se comes from Mandarin shè bèi, which means equipment, device.
Seri is like Latin and English series, for sequences.
Ver means safety, like German Wehr (defense, protection).

Here are others word with these sounds:
eover = to care for (social + safety), just like sever = key (machine + safety)
eomseri = parade, procession (social events and gatherings + series), just like seseri = menu, list (machine + series)

Se is a very important word that we can use to talk about everyday machines and appliances. For that we use compounds, for example:

fivas se = cold-machine = fridge
vardeis se = watch-machine = tv
jomos se = plate-machine = dishwasher
yes bos se = clothes-hygiene fixture-machine = washing machine
pohems se = heat-machine = heater
asivis se = suck-machine = vacuum cleaner
mogalis se = coffee-machine = coffee maker
maemiris se = rice-machine = rice cooker

Here, we also have repetition of the root to create an effect of intensity. For example, yalgaigai is very very small.

Everybody knows that when it is noon in the United States the sun is setting over France.

If you could fly to France in one minute, you could go straight into the sunset, right from noon. Unfortunately, France is too far away for that. But on your tiny planet, my little prince, all you need do is move your chair a few steps. You can see the day end and the twilight falling whenever you like . . .

"You know--one loves the sunset, when one is so sad . . ."

"Were you so sad, then?" I asked, "on the day of the forty-four sunsets?" But the little prince made no reply.
