TI CLUSTER

Today we will learn one cluster, TI. Take a look at this table:

Oravia English
tinen break
titata steal
tidetu die
tiju lie
tiuan crime
tiuri abuse

What do you think TI words are about?

!!! info "๐ŸŒ Sound Connections"
Ju comes from Hindi jhลซแนญh, which means deception.

Here is another word with this root:
siju = trick (process + deceive), just like tiju = lie (harm + deceive)

Take a look at a couple of sentences using ti words:

i elireva, tijum = I am telling the truth, not lying.
i daium i tidetu cali nedastam yamirli = I don't want to die too old.
run i vil i titataum, su i tiuanum = you have an obligation not to steal, and not to commit a crime.

You are ready for the reading now!

We will start working on our last text of the Course. It's a chapter from the Little Prince! See how far you've come :)

There will be some things you do not know in the readings to mirror real language encounter. Read it once and see if you can get the gist of it, and then try it again checking the tips below.
