Lusaria

Lusaria is a main city in Oravia. It is located in the North, by a warm sea. It is comprised of the coast plus many islands.

Lusaria is a cosmopolitan confederation with a liberal government (based on contracts, rules and individual rights). The main activities include fishing, trading, bureaucracy, and scholarship. They have a thousand-year-old scholar tradition with impressive universities, libraries and telescope towers, and the main fields that thrive there are astronomy, sorcery, and law. The scholarship there being so old is one of the reasons scholars write in a different script, by the way. The Stars Script used to be common in long gone eras.

Lusaria does not have much of a military tradition, but it is well protected by a navy, sorcerers, and natural barriers (there is a mountainous terrain surrounding it inland, and a rock/coral barrier in the sea). It also does not hurt they have a long diplomacy tradition and prosperous trade that other nations depend on.
