Answers

Great job! Based on the sentences, we can see that:
. we use um at the end of the word to mean no/not.
. we use jal for men and jor for women, which is optional.

Now try to create 3 more sentences:

The BO Cluster

BO is our third cluster! Take a look at these words and try to see if you can guess what this cluster is about.

Oravia English
bofin inside
bontame table
bortal door
bospupi shower
boelori room

What do you think the words that start in BO have in common?

๐ŸŒ Fun Fact

Bo is like Arabic ุจูŠุช (bayt = house, dwelling); Hebrew ื‘ื™ืช (bayit = house); Proto-Semitic *bayt- (house); Swahili boma (enclosed homestead); Russian ะฑะพะบ (bok = side of a house).

And pupi is mimicking the sound of falling water :).

Now that we are learning locations, there is a word that is very useful for this! When we want to talk about location, we use en. This means on/at/in. For example,

en bo = at home
en bospupi = in the bath
en bontame = on the table

Very versatile. Now we can talk about locations! We also use en for time, similar to how English also uses on/at/in to indicate time. But that's for another lesson :)
